The training occurred at the St. Peter’s Specialized Hospital Training Centre in Ethiopia.
The course was designed with the goal of offering comprehensive training to surgical care providers. The program included modules on surgical leadership, effective communication techniques, fostering teamwork, implementing evidence-based quality improvement initiatives, utilizing Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols, and adhering to national guidelines. The aim of the course was to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver safe and high-quality surgical care to patients.
